The Montgomery-Countryside Fire Protection District serves locations generally north of the Kane-Kendall county line between Douglas Road and Orchard Road, as well as a small section of the Kendall County portion of the Village. The district maintains two stations, one on Railroad Street just south of Webster Street, and the other on Knell Road, west of Ill. Route 31.
